Although this varietal was introduced to the Commonwealth almost three decades ago, Albariño has recently gained significant traction as Virginia’s leading white wine. Picture a twirling flamenco dancer in a yellow gown with green hints. She skips through the citrus carnival - lemon, lime, grapefruit – And the party’s on! Caitlin Horton describes this wine as “versatile and awesome”, and we couldn’t agree more. Light bodied, but balances our peppercorn crusted cauliflower quite well, or simply enjoy it as an aperitif.
