Although this varietal was introduced to the Commonwealth almost three decades ago, Albariño has recently gained significant traction as one of Virginia’s leading white wines. Picture a twirling flamenco dancer in a yellow gown with green hints. She skips through the citrus carnival - lemon, lime, grapefruit. Light bodied, but with subtle power and persistence, it balances our peppercorn crusted cauliflower quite well, or simply enjoy it as an aperitif.
